Mrs. Jack Nicholson with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nicholson and two daughters Benita and Clarice of Front Royal spent from Friday until Monday visiting friends and relatives in Newport News, Williamsburg and Jamestown. Mr. and Mrs. John Burke and family and Miss Janet Burke spent the week-end at Green Springs, West Virginia. They spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Morgan and attended church there. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Burke, Mrs. Beall and Barney Beall and William Burke, all of Arlington. Greg and Jerry Burke returned home with their parents on Sunday after spending the week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Burke. Mr. and Mrs. George J. Bentley spent the weekend at their home Ash Tree Farm here. Their guests, for the weekend were Steve Pappas of Chicago, a great nephew, and Christopher Bentley of Waterford, their grandson. Miss Mollie Smith has completed her student summer teaching in Roanoke and has returned to her home Spring House Farm. Mr. and Mrs. Field Benton and son Hugh of Middlesboro, Ky. are visiting this week at Chincoteague Island and at Oc cracoke, N. C. They will return for the week-end at the home of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller.
