*** Randall Updike, former -G-H member of Rappahannock County, is now employed t>y the Virginia Department of Agriculture as Northern Virginia Marketing Agent with headquarters at Harrisonburg.

Randall will assist livestock men with special sales and with Extension Livestock Programs.

In a recent letter Randall states; “The Culpeper Graded Dairy Heifer Sale is coming up on September 12. This sale was organized in 19b 1 and has been doing real wel., but more heifers are needed for even a better sale. Heifers from this sale have gone to seven states and to Italy.

Interest among the buye'rs for these heifers that are graded and have production records has increased over the years. If you know of any dairymen that may be interested in con signing heifers to the sale, please contact Richard Harris Sale Chairman, Culpeper, ViF
