Lois Yates has been named “Betty Crocker Homemaker at RCHS” as the result of competition in December to determine the outstanding homemaker here. Senior girls were eligible for the competition which was a written knowledge and attitude examination. This is the 17th year the search for the American Homemaker of Tomorrow has been selected. Lois will compete on the state level and the winner from that will compete nationally. Awards include $110,000 in college scholarships of which the state winner receives $1,500 plus a trip to Washington, D. C. and Williamsburg.
