How big a change in the voting picture, numerically and politically, may be expected in Rappahannock County as a result of the Supreme Court decision giving the franchise in national elections to the 18 to 20-year-olds?
According to a projection of census figures, there will be a pool of some 330 local residents in the new voting-age brackets when the next Federal election rolls around, in 1972.
They are the ones who are 16, 17 and 18 years old at the present time. By 1972 they will be 18,19 and 20.
