High winds Tuesday did minor damage in Rappahannock County. Some trees were uprooted, small buildings overturned and many tree limbs ripped off. No power failure was reported, but driving was hazardous. A large tree blew over and crushed the fence at the property of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle and a building large enough to sleep one person was overturned at the home of Miss Phoebe Green, both in Amissville. The refrigerator in Miss Green’s building reclines on its top following the gusty day Tuesday.
