At many sessions, educational talks are presented. During the past year, speakers have included a neurosurgeon, a physical therapist, a urologist, an orthopedist, an occupational therapist, a representative from the St. Louis County Special School District from the program for the Orthopedically Handicapped, and the executive director of local chapter of The National Foundation-March of Dimes. The Center social worker, of course, attends all meetings.
