This stand of planted pine near Flint Hill has just been cleared of hardwood sprouts to enhance its growth. Prior to cutting the sprouts the pine growth was almost obscured. Clearing the sprouts will enable the pine to grow straight and full as well. Forest Warden Clifton Jenkins checks the stand of pine trees.
