“ELEVEN cases of TB under supervision were reported in Rappahannock County in 1972,” says Mrs. Annie Cooke of Amissville, Christmas Seal Chairman for the area. The reported Tuberculosis Data for 1972 was released last month by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Lung Association.

Amissville Ruritan Club announces the winners of the Christmas home decoration contest judged last week.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. George Lawrence on the Waterloo Road east of the village were named in first place. In second place was Mrs. Sarah Latham and the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Poe was third.
