Assembly during its last session required more emphasis on vocational education.
Rappahannock has a cooperative relationship with the Piedmont Technical Center in Culpeper and 24 high school students make the trip by bus to take classes. They are studying to be auto mechanics, carpenters, electricians, data processing technicians, beauticians, draftsmen, food handlers and preparers, office workers, nurses glides, and air conditioning mechanics.
The program and schedule for these students is arranged so they get a complete academic program. To get all of this done
