Mr. Yowell, 87, died December 22, 1973, at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was a retired farm owner and a native of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by one son, Franklin Yowell of Boston; two brothers, A. W. Yowell of Etlan and Joel L. Yowell of Peola Mills; and one sister, Mrs. Edna F. Padgett of Richmond.
