“THEY JUST go on and on,” commented L. Lee Bean, the Arlington attorney retained by Fauquier County for the State Corporation Commission hearings on proposed new Vepco high voltage powerlines through Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren.

Bean said that the Vepco hearings might even go on longer if the Commission decides to modify the route of the powerlines, a move requiring re-advertising.

In the latest hearings which began the week of December 18 in Richmond, an alternative route for the powerlines was presented by an SCC sponsored computer study.
