The Methodist Woman’s Society will meet Monday, September 16 with Mrs. Douglas By waters at 7:30 p.m.
The Homemakers Club., will meet at the fire hall Tuesday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Allison, Home Agent, will present a program on House Plants. Members are urged to attend this important meeting. Another trip is planned.
Douglas Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker, has returned to Auburn, Ala. where he will be a senior at Auburn University. Before classes begin he will undergo a five-day leadership training program at the U. S. Army Ranger Camp at Mt. Tonah, Ga.
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning with their house guest Mrs. Roert T. Browning of Short Hill, N. J. spent last week at Capon springs, W. Va. Mrs. R. T. Browning will remain with the Brownings for the remainder of the week.
Dr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wise of Laurel, Md. were visitors this week of Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. Rodgers.
