Horse show

re-scheduled

The Old Mill Stables’ horse show, which was postponed from Sunday, September 8 because of the wet weather, will be held this Saturday, September 14 at 10 a.m. Classes will be for all ages and stages of riding which include grooming and conditioning, tiny tots, western classes! green rider classes for the green riders, equitation, hunter classes and also green hunter classes for the green horses. An extra added attraction for the show is the Hunt Team class on an outside course.□

Cancer Society

officers elected

Mrs. Roberta Anderson of Woodville has accepted the presidency of the Rappahannock Chapter, American Cancer Society. An election was held at the meeting September 3. First vice president is Andrew Kozik of Sperryville and Mrs. Elizabeth Scherschel of Flint Hill is second vice president. Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill is secretary, while Mrs. James F. Massie is treasurer. Both were re-elected to these offices.□
