Pursuant to the provisions of the will of Florence C. Dennis dated October 24, 1959, admitted to probate and recorded June 5, 1973, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Will Book Z, at page 405, the undersigned will offer for sale at public auction, to the highest bidder or bidders, at the front door of the Court House, in Washington, Virginia, on Saturday, September 28, 1974, at 10:00 A.M. (DST), the following property, to-wit:
Tract #2: All that certain tract or parcel of land set forth and described at Tract #2 in a survey of C.T. Guinn, Jr., made March 17-22, 1969, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 96, at page 67, to-wit:
Beginning at point A on said plat, said point being the northeast corner of the tract herein described and a point in the land of G. C. Scudder; running thence with the line of Tract #1, N 64 35’ W 561.00 feet to an iron pipe at “I”, a point in the line of Alphaeus F. Cannon; thence with the lines of Cannon, S 00 10’ W 857.00 feet to “J”; thence with the land of Scudder and the outlet road N 39 35’ E 800.00 feet to “A”, the point of beginning, and containing 5.00 acres.
The real estate herein described is a part of a larger tract of land devised Florence L. Dennis and Laura C. Pulliam by Gertie V. Coates by will dated May 29, 1940, admitted to probate and recorded August 6, 1940, in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Will Book K, at page 266, the interest of Laura C. Pulliam having been conveyed to Florence L. Dennis by deed dated May 20, 1947, and recorded January 3, 1968, in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 90, at page 549.
Reference is made to a plat and survey of said tract of land hereby offered for sale, the same being recorded in said Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 96, at page 67.
