Andy Nichols

an Eagle Scout

Andy Nichols has attained the rank of Eagle Scout and was presented his pin at the annual meeting of the Shenrapawa District. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols of Flint Hill. The district meeting was held in Luray on September 5. Mrs. Nichols received the Eagle Scout Mother’s Award.

Andy had received much encouragement from his father, who is Scoutmaster of Troop 36. Presentation of the awards was made by the Rev. B.G. Titchenell, of Woodville, an official of the district, who noted that only 2% of all scouts attain this highest rank in scouting.

In addition to Mr. and Mrs. Nichols and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill attended the barbecue held in conjunction with the meeting.
