THE ONE HUNDRED-EIGHTIETH session of Shiloh Baptist Association will convene at the Culpeper Baptist Church in the second meeting of 1974 on Saturday, October 26. The meeting will be called to order at 9:45 a.m. by the Moderator, Luther Utz.
From its organizational meeting at Rapidan Meeting House in October 1791, until the meeting at Crooked Run in 1812, this Association was known as the Culpeper Association or the Baptist Association of Culpeper District. At this time, a resolution was adopted which affected the change of name. Since its organization, Shiloh Association, which is now comprised of 33 churches and one mission, has met annually on a rotating basis among the churches.
Featured on the morning session of Saturday’s meeting will be Dr. Lawson Pankey, Dr. Vernon Lankford and Dr. Ernest Honts. mem
