FROM TIME to time the social security office gets reports that some people have not received their regular social security checks. Mrs. Hazel F. Crumpton, KSTErict Manager of the Winchester Social Security Office, said one of the chief reasons for this is that the beneficiary has moved, changed his mailing address but has not notified his social security office of the change. Therefore, the regular check is issued and sent to the old address. The beneficiary is no longer there and the check is returned to the Treasury Department.
