NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Notice is hereby given that The Potomac Edison Company on July 19, 1974, filed with the State Corporation Commission of Virginia an application requesting a temporary increase in the rates charged for electric service. This temporary increase was granted by the Commission and became effective for all service rendered on and after August 1, 1974.
The Company filed a second application for a further increase in rates on a permanent basis on August 20, 1974. The Commission has suspended the effective date of these proposed rates and has scheduled a hearing on both the temporary and permanent applications in its Courtroom, Blanton Building, Richmond, -Virginia, at 10:09 A.l(. on February 10, 1975.
