CHESTNUT FORKS Tennis Club, located east of Warrenton on Route 605, is being planned for an early January, 1975, opening, according to John T. Maloney Jr.

Planned are four indoor courts which will be rented on an hourly basis. Also available will be use of an exercise room, with “MacLevy” equipment for men and women; saunas and locker rooms, use of which will be covered by annual fees. Also available will be a supervised nursery with an outside play area, for small extra charges per child.

Maloney said that for beginners and players seeking to improve their game, there will be a qualified teaching professional on hand. He is Skip Bishop, who taught previously at the Four Seasons Tennis Club in Merrifield. Bishop will offer private lessons and conduct clinics.
