open house Sunday

AN OPEN HOUSE at the brick building on Gay Street owned by the Rappahannock Historical Society will be held Sunday, March 9, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sketches and plans for restoration of the building will be on display. Suggestions and ideas will be heard. A committee under the chairmanship of Waldron O’Connor will be in charge of the restoration work. At a meeting of the Society Wednesday, February 26, officers for the ensuing year were elected: President, Mrs. Virginia G. Miller; Vice President, E.M. Jones; Secretary, Mrs. Robert J. Rodgers; Treasurer, Mrs. Robert Anderson.
