RECOMMENDED reading in this issue of the News is Art Wright’s letter about the “Wilderness” controversy that has developed around a proposal that would enhance the value of the Shenandoah National Park, now and for generations to come.
We urge readers to take the time to read Mr. Wright’s letter, as lengthy as it is. There has been so much misinformation and crying of alarums based on an inadequate understanding of what is actually involved, and Mr. Wright has gone to some pains to try and set the facts straight.
