Just so your readers know of my interest in this subject, let me say that I work for the Wilderness Society, a forty-year-old private, non-profit, membership organization which works hard to save what remains of the great American wilderness. I am also a land-owner and taxpayer in Rappahannock County of many years’ standing. Mrs. Wright and I have many friends and acquaintances in the county and we look forward to the day when we can live here permanently rather than just as weekenders.
