THE OWNER-RIDER hurdle race was a repeat - of last week’s contest at Casanova with Douglas Worrall’s Mr. Bruhl again leading from start to finish. He was followed by Storytale, Harry Wight riding with a cast on his broken right hand, and R.M. Walterman’s Waltersson. The order remained the same until the seventh of eleven fences when the gray Walters son fell, and Kool Kake began to close on the leaders. Across the finish it was Mr. Bruhl the winner, Kevin Palmer’s Kool Kake second, and Dr. Joe Rogers third on his Marine Band.
