change of luck. Last week at Casanova he fell at a fence when a loose horse blocked him. Dr. William McCormick took Timber Topper to the front and they held the lead throughout the two and a half miles. Gibson Semmes on his Scoobie Doobie and Mike Brown riding Miss Cherry traded the second position several times, going head and head over the rail fence at the top of the hill and the coop at the bottom. Coming into the last fence it looked like a classic hunt team with the horses evenly spaced. Miss Cherry tried her best to catch the leader in the stretch, but it was Timber Topper by two lengths over Miss Cherry, followed by Scoobie Doobie.
