services were conducted Sunday at the Third Zion Baptist Church at Success with the Rev. Wilbur Bryant officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Turner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.□

Atkins

Franklin Haywood Atkins, 61, of Linden died March 14, 1975 in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rappahannock County, the son of Charles B. and Eunice Clayton Atkins.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eliza Atkins, two brothers, Ned Atkins of Linden and Jack Atkins of Front Royal, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Frances Heflin and Mrs. Giles Heflin of Linden, Mrs. Lucy Strother and Mrs. Cindy Cooper of Front Royal.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the chapel of Maddox Funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Interment was in the Atkins Cemetery, Linden. □
