Charge dropped
A JUVENILE petition has been dropped against Randy Clark, 16, of Flint Hill who had been charged with the slaying of Joseph Corron of Front Royal at the Clark home March 9. Investigation disclosed the rifle which Randy fired at Corron did not strike him, but death was caused by a .22 pistol bullet fired either by Lewis Clark, Randy’s father, or from the gun used by Corron which injured the senior Clark.
Ballistic tests will be made on the .22 calibre bullet extracted from the body of Joseph Corron and one taken from Lewis Clark of Flint Hill during surgery after the confrontation at the Clark home.D
