LEE JACKSON WHITE of Fredericksburg operating a 71 Ford pickup, lost control of it on a curve, ran into a field and struck a tree! He was cited for reckless driving by Trooper W.A. Buntin, who estimated^, the- damage at $800 to the vehicle. The crash occurred on Route 642 near Viewtown on March 13, about 4 p.m.
Two vehicles sideswiped on a curve on Route 211 west of Sperryville late in the evening, March 15. Involved were a 67 Mercury operated by Gene Wayne Bolyard of Luray and a 74 Chevrolet station wagon driven by Jerome Cade of Manassas.
