RESIDENT Highway Engineer Don Askew appeared at the meeting to remind the Supervisors that the annual secondary road hearing time is nigh, and the Board agreed to advertise this hearing as part of their April 6 meeting.
The Supervisors almost always take Askew’s appearances as an opportunity to put in a plug for specific road projects in their districts, but this time they had few suggestions.
“You’re getting off awful easy today,” quipped Herbert Foster. “Wait ’til next month,” grinned Askew. □
