AVERY FAULKNER, senior partner of the architectural design firm of Faulkner. Fryer and Vanderpool. of Washington. D.C.. has volunteered his services, free, to assist in developing the Rappahannock Recreation Center.
Faulkner is a weekend resident of Rappahannock county, owning property near Woodville. The firm which he now heads began in 1942 and over the years has developed a far- ranging practice specializing in institutional buildings and planning projects such as hospitals, schools, colleges, scientific and governmental complexes, and even a zoological park.
Faulkner toured the Rec Center site on Route 211 near Washington.
