Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. William Hershey of Bristol, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Burke of Alexandria. Friday dinner guests of the Burkes were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Beahm of Lorton and Mrs. Myrtle Watkins of Wenatchee, Wash. Saturday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. John C. Moore, Donnell Moore and C. Cletus Burke, all of Front Royal.
Col. John C. Adams of Texas was the recent guest of his mother, Mrs. Matilda Walker.
Brock Minor of Richmond was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller at Mt. Prospect Friday. Master John Arthur Raney was their overnight guest Saturday.
Mrs. George Singleton and Mr. and Mrs. William Fracker of Zanesville, Ohio, are visiting friends and relatives in the county.
J. Stant Weaver spent the weekend in Fairfax with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda. Sunday they were dinner guests of his son, John Weaver in Washington, D. C. and attended a performance at the Kennedy Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley camped at Harpers Ferry, W. Va., from Thursday through Tuesday. Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Arlington accompanied them. While there they were visited Friday by Mr. and Mrs. Forest McCarty of Stephens City and on Saturday by Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz, Gregg and Philip of Woodville.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier and Gerald of Woodbridge were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Many.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Snead, Rayner and Lewis of Lynchburg spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith. Sunday they visited Miss Annie M. Almond.
Friday Mrs. Mary Lea, Mrs. L. J. Turner with Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint Hill visited Mrs. James Poston in Buena Vista returning home through Harrisonburg where Miss Nancy Cargill, a student at Madison college, joined them. Miss Cargill spent the weekend with her grandmother, Mrs. Lea. On Saturday they visited Miss Almond. Miss Almond visited Mrs. Leslie Fox Keyser in Front Royal Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones hadas weekend guests Mr. andMrs.W.J. Crowder Jr. of Blackstone. Mrs. Epes Raney and her daughter, Mrs. Raney Begor of Bowie, Md., were Sunday luncheon guests of the Joneses.
