BIRD Dog Trails on Saturday, November 1, will open the annual fall events sponsored by the Madison Wildlife Association. As in past years, the race is set to begin at 9 a.m. on the Ernest Yowe11 farm on Ruth Road, approximately two miles west of Madison. Dogs will be divided in three divisions: Class 1, County Dogs; Class 2, Out-of-County Dogs; and Class 3, Grand Champion.

Coming the following week, Saturday, November 8, will be the Beagle Trials, also scheduled for 9 a.m. on the Yowell farm. This race is open to out-of-county dogs as well as county beagles, with competition in two classes.
