Skipper Mathena of Richmond spent several days last week with his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Roy Mathena. Mr. Mathena has been called as pastor of the Browntown Baptist Church. Sunday afternoon members of the Chester Gap Baptist Church gathered to honor the Mathenas and to present them with a silver tray as a farewell gift.
