Tax conferences
are scheduled
A series of farm and small business income tax conferences are scheduled to be held at several locations over the state during November and December. The twoday conferences are sponsored by the Agricultural Economics Department at VPI & SU, The State Department of Taxation, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Conferences in the Northern Virginia area are scheduled at the Fredericksburg-Sheraton Motor Inn on December 1 and 2, and December 11 and 12 and also at the Quality Motor Inn in Front Royal, on December 15 and 16.
The primary purpose of these conferences if “to help those who prepare tax returns for others to be better prepared for the coming tax season.” Enrollment is bypreregistration and is limited for each conference. Enrollment closes one week prior to the conference.
