ATTENTION has been given the future of the school bus maintenance shop which will eventually be taken by the Highway Department when Route 211 is duallaned. The consensus of the Board indicated the area near the lagoon is the preferred site; however, much ground work in reference to access, excavation, etc. would have to be done before a firm commitment would be made.
In discussion which considered moving directly back from the present building, account would have to be taken of zoning, which requires a 60 foot setback in addition to the 180 feet setback from the present center line of the road. Other items to be considered include the septic tank and drainfields and bus parking area.
