CARO OF THANKS
The Cancer Crusade this spring reached its goal as the result of the valiant efforts of the volunteer workers. The captains and their volunteers did a marvelous job, according to Mrs. Mary Curtis of Flint Hill who was co-chairman of the project. She said that Mrs. Sally Laing of Amissville, who was chairman, joined her in expressing sincere appreciation to those who worked and to all who contributed. □
Announcement
The first devotional service at the Mt. Salem Baptist Church is set for July 1 at 8 p.m. and will be followed by a business meeting. Announcement was made after the June 3rd meeting of the Mt. Salem Restoration Association. At that time plans were made for members and volunteers to thoroughly clean the building. Work will begin immediately on painting the roof.D
