centive payment rate was 61.1%. This payment rate is based on the difference between the National Average price of 44.7 and the incentive price of 72 cents a pound. A growers payment on 1975 marketing is determined by multiplying his net dollar return from the sale of wool by the payment rate of 61.1% regardless of the price received per pound. The payment provisions of this program provides incentive for a producer to improve the quality of his wool in order to get the best price possible.
