Mrs. Meekins
A funeral mass for Mrs. Gertrude Meekins of Sperryville was held Monday at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Maurice du Castillon. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Mrs. Meekins was 61, a native of Herman, Pa. died June 10, 1976 at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gordon of Sperryville. She was a daughter of the late Mathias and Teresa Korr Gilliam of Washington, D. C. and the widow of Nicholas Meekins of Baltimore.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Gordon, she is survived by a son, Robert Joseph Watts of California, children of a previous marriage to George A. Watts of Washington, D. C; three brothers and five sisters and three grandchildren.
