There were several parts in the script for the pageant last Saturday night which, unfortunately, in an effort of that size were overlooked.
Qne^jvas an expression of thanks to Mr\ and Mrs. Fletcher for lending Montpelier. It was ideal for an attempt to create a genuine mood that would enable us here in Rappahannock 1976 to appreciate our past so that we will be a committed part of what needs doing to preserve the good in our heritage and to work to correct what has not measured up to the vision seen by the framers of the Declaration in 1776.
