Hawkins named

Amos Hawkins has been appointed Superintendent of Mammoth Cave National Park, Ky., effective July 4. He has been with the National Park Service for a number of years holding positions in Prince William Forest Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park. Since 1971 he served as Superintendent of Cumberland Gap National Historical Park near Middleboro, Ky.

Hawkins is the son of Mrs. Joseph R. Hawkins,Sr. of Boston, Va. and he is married to the former Ethel Richards of Page County. They have three children, Gary 21, Pamela 20 and Karen 15.

Patricia F. Azano of Sperryville received a MA defree in Education this spring from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.
