appointed Acting Executive Director with the departure of David Schwemer, the Board’s former Executive Director. Schwemer assumed a similar position in Winchester.

Prior to coming to this area Dr. Schaible served in the positions of Director of Child/Adolescent Services and Program Director for a large community mental health center in Huntington, W. Va. He received his Doctorate and Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University, Morgantown, W. Va., and his B.A. in Psychology from Clark University, Worcester, Mass.

He served a clinical internship at the Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences at the Houston Medical Center.

HE HAS published research in the area of group psychotherapy. Also he has presented papers on various topics at national and regional conferences. In 1974 Dr. Schaible provided directly solicited testimony to the Senate Subcommittee on Health in regard to deliberation of the National Health Planning Resources Development Act of 1974.

Dr. Schaible’s appointment as Executive Director took effect June !.□
