Joining the Rappahannock News Editorial staff will be David Lyne, a reporter for the Fauquier Democrat, who grew up in Rappahannock County, and whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Lyne have lived here in Washington for over 30 years. i *
The format of the News has changed with this edition from a tabloid to a broadsheet format, as it was when it was founded in 1877 and until changed to a tabloid in 1972. . The newspaper will continue to be operated from its present Rappahannock County offices here in Washington. It will be printed weekly at the Fauquier Democrat’s plant in Warrenton.'
