Mr. Nicholson

John L. Nicholson, 83, a former resident of Washington, died May 3, 1977 in the Shawnee Spring Nursing Home in Winchester. He was the son of the late Newton and Emily Nicholson of Madison.

Mr.. Nicholson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie F. Nicholson, five daughters; Mrs. Goldie Nicholson of Winchester, Mrs. Jessie Corbin of Aihissville, Mrs. Essie Mae Aylor of Culpeper, Mrs. Claudie Nicholson of Madison and Mrs. Dona Corbin of Rixeyville; one son, Jordon Nicholson of Winchester; five sisters; Mrs. Mary Ann Southard, Mrs. Matilda Dodson, both of Maryland, Mrs. Susie Dodson, Mrs. Cynthia Jenkins, both of Winchester and Mrs. Monie Corbin of Flint Hill; one brother, Lewis Nicholson of Charlestown, West Virginia; 26 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
