The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will host a special meeting on Friday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington to hear views on environmental issues from candidates to the House of Delegates.

According to program chairman Annette Young, RLEP is seeking information about each candidate’s position on matters such as land-use planning, taxation as related to land-use, environmental preservation as it effects wildlife, water purity and air pollution. Solid waste disposal and energy conservation may also be discussed.
