covered by insurance, was totally destroyed by fire in 1973 leaving them with little but a gloomy outlook for the future. The community responded generously with funds for materials. Seven Ruritan members logged 1,200 hours of labor and within three or four months, constructed a comfortable little home completely wired and painted.
