hi 1007 vjcurgc \~ary purchased the Blue Ridge Guide from the estate, and published the paper for a continuous 47 years, until poor health forced him to retire. He is fondly remembered by citizens of Rappahannock, and was eulogized in an article written by Attorney F. C. Baggerly in the Virginia Star. His death meant the end of Blue Ridge Guide, and no newspapers were published in Rappahannock for 13 years.
