In addition to the program and singing, there will be carriage and pony rides. Parking space is provided on the carnival grounds and a shuttle will transport people from the parking area to the center of town.
The evening program will begin at 7 p.m. at Avon Hall, the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan. This will feature a fife and drum corps, the Potowmack Ancients, games and races and the National Anthem, sung by Mrs. Jane Pillow of Charlottesville.
