Area producers are reminded to report all acreage planted to corn, barley, grain sorghum, and wheat. According to 1 proposed legislation, if the Secretary of Agriculture declares a set-aside for the 1978 crops, the 1977 planted acreage coaid be used to determine set-aside requirements for payment. Farms that do not report will be considered to have zero planted acreage and may be ineligible for program benefits t in 1978.
