The Rappahannock Welfare Board unanimously authorized Social Services Director Elizabeth Buntin to contract with Chapter Ten Mental Health and Retardation Board to purchase juvenile counselins and other services for the county. Title 20 funds allocated to Rappahannock will be used to buy the services and the county’s match will be covered' by donated funds provided through Chapter Ten instead of with local tax dollars.
“We’re going to have a lot of federal Title 20 money that we can’t use unless the Board contracts with Chapter Ten to use donated funds to purchase services from Mental Health and Nutrition Services,” reported Mrs. Buntin.
