Graveside funeral services were held Sunday for Lucie Jackson Kilby at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Nicholson officiating.
Mr. Kilby, 69, died June 24,1977 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. He was the manager of the Rappahannock Fruit Growers Coop.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Mitchell Kilby of Sperryville; one son, Timothy Kilby of Rochester, N. Y.; two daughters, Miss Letitia A. Kilby of New Haven, Conn., and Miss Theresa O. Kilby of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret K. Tyus of Richmond; and four brothers, Walter L. Kilby of Woodstock, Maurey Kilby of Wytheville, Earl Kilby and Irvin Kilby, both of Sperryville.
Mr. Kilby was the son of the late Walter B. and Margaret Yowell Kilby and he was a member of the F. T. Valley Baptist Church.
Contributions may be made to the Sperryville Rescue Squad or to the Respiration Lab of the Warren Memorial Hospital.
