The Sperryville Sonics finally solved internal problems Sunday as they downed the injury-ridden Buccaneers 18-6 and 21-4 in abbreviated slow-pitch softball action.

GAME ONE. The Sonics ended their long drought with the refreshing taste of victory as they rolled to an 18-6 rout over the Buccaneers in five innings.

J. Alther led the Sperryville onslaught with a 4-4 performance including a threerun homer. Going 3-4 for the Sonics were S. Leake, D. Thornhill, J. Settle and M. Hitt.

For the Bucs F. Kerns went 2-3, R. Gray 3-3, J. Willis 2-2 and R, Poe 2-2,

J. ^Settle was ^awarded the win with the loss going to T. Connors.
